RACE SITE
The event will take place at Parc des Cascades in Chambly.
There will be
both individual and team events.
The site is out standing.

GETTING THERE
Autoroute 10 East (Eastern Townships autoroute), exit 22 towards
Chambly, follow directions for Site historique Fort Chambly, take boulevard
Fréchette
then turn left at avenue Bourgogne, Parc des Cascades right.
COURSE
DUATHLON
RUN 5 Km
Flat course 5 laps on Bourgogne
and Promenade Riveraine along the
Bassin de Chambly.
BIKE 20km
Flat course, 7 laps of 2.7 kilometres
RUN 5 Km
Flat course 5 laps on Bourgogne and
Promenade Riveraine along the
Bassin de Chambly.
SERVICES
Free parking, water stations, marshals and signage on courses, kilometre
markers, medical support, toilets.
Results will be posted during the
event.
SALAD BAR WILL BE SERVED.

RESULTS
Medal will be awarded to the first three finishers in each category.
Medals send by mail, $5 fees.
RULES
- Each participant must be autonomous and cannot receive any outside
assistance.
- Certified (hard) cycling helmet, running shirt and bib number
worn in front during the run are mandatory. Failure to comply will
result in disqualification.
- No drafting allowed on bike run.
- Transition area: Cyclists must deposit their bikes in their reserved
space on the racks.
- End of the race: Cyclists must dismount at the line (before entering
transition area).
I.T.U. rules will be follow.
TEAM TRANSITION
Procedure: the runner must touch the cyclist and the cyclist
the runner in the transition zone (bike racks) reserved for DUATHLON
teams.
IMPORTANT: the timing chip must be exchanged between
the runner and the cyclist and the cyclist and the runner.
TIMING
ChampionChip timing by SPORTSTATS.
Split times will be taken at the end of the first run segment, at the start
of the second run segment and at the finish line for both individuals and teams.
Results will be posted on our web site by SPORTSTATS right after the event.

PARTICIPANT’S KITS
A FREE T-SHIRT WILL BE OFFERED TO ATHLETES WHO WILL REGISTER AND PAY BEFORE MAY 1st 2010.
A racing bib will be given to all participants at registration. Race kits will be available from 7:00 AM at the site.
